Developed initial strategy and high-level business case for an Internet-only payment product that provides both pay-ahead (pre-pay) and pay-later (credit) facilities. Involvement included development of product concept and coordination of market research efforts, and provided implementation planning and on-going assistance, including identification of banking and processing partners required for the product launch.
Assisted a new Internet payments organization to develop an Internet-based credit card product that is targeted to the needs of Internet consumers and content providers. Involvement included development of product concept, coordination of market research efforts, and assistance in generating venture capital financing for the company. Also provided implementation planning and ongoing assistance including identification of banking and processing partners required for the product launch.
Performed an issuer feasibility study for a start-up multi-level marketing company that was seeking to implement a cobrand card, without the benefit of a brand, a value-proposition or a distribution strategy.
Delivered a benchmarking study to a cobrand partner in the US by reviewing current revenue sources, reasonable revenue expectations, issuer trends and "mystery shopper" issuer compensation research.
