Now BR-DGE’s Head of Partnerships, Tom started his career at Visa on their award-winning talent programme, leading projects across the UK, Ireland and USA, Tom has a strong knowledge of the payments ecosystem, connecting key stakeholders to deliver better outcomes for providers, acquirers and merchants alike. As a pioneer for partnerships, Tom helped establish the Enablers, Payment Gateways and Orchestration platform team at Visa, before bringing his expertise to BR-DGE to head up the new partnerships function.
With experience spanning all key stakeholders across the payments landscape, Tom has designed and developed a forward-thinking partnership program for BR-DGE, connecting merchants with global payment solutions at scale. Tom understands first-hand how challenging and complex payments can be and works in collaboration with the commercial team to deliver the best outcomes for both merchants and BR-DGE’s growing partnership network.

Prior to joining EDC in 2015, Martin held senior operational positions developing, launching and growing payment and fintech products and services via direct sales, and strategic partnerships at start-ups and corporations including MasterCard and Citibank, and at pricing consultancy Simon-Kucher & Partners. Outside of work, Martin likes to tinker about on guitar.
